This site describes the research of the K. H. Aaron Lau group in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, University of Strathclyde. We are developing bioinspired materials based on synthetically convenient systems that can nonetheless control molecular and nanoscale interactions. We currently focus on exploiting peptoid and nanoporous anodic alumina materials for biomaterials, biointerfaces, nanotechnology, and enzyme applications.
